Kindergarten Mavrica na Pehlin in Rijeka accepts 105 children divided into five educational groups: 2 groups of nursery school and 3 groups of kindergarten age. The Mavrica kindergarten facility, in addition to five educational groups with all economic and common facilities, also has a central, modernly equipped kitchen where 500 meals are prepared for the Pehlin kindergarten and for other kindergartens within the Turnić Preschool Facility Center. Kindergarten Pehlin covers an area of 1252 m2. The specificity of the kindergarten is a beautiful view of the sea. The rooms where the children stay are located on the ground floor and are oriented towards the south. The rooms of the living room have a direct connection to the outdoor areas – terraces, with protection from the strong sun using movable electrified awnings.
