Modern Line

EU Project

Project description

The implementation of the project “Increasing energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources in the Modern Line d.o.o. production facility” will solve the problem of an energy-inefficient production process that consumes large amounts of energy for its work. By implementing the project, the Company will reduce energy consumption in the production facility by 98.74% and by 80.37% due to the energy renovation of the building compared to the energy supplied before the implementation of the project. It will also increase the share of the use of renewable solar energy in gross energy consumption by 120,263.68 kWh kWh/year and reduce CO2 emissions by a total of 68.31t/year.

Objectives and results of the project

The construction of a photovoltaic power plant from renewable energy sources will produce 120,263.68 kWh of energy. By using electricity produced from renewable energy sources, greenhouse gases will be significantly reduced, since the energy from the photovoltaic power plant is clean energy that does not emit CO2. By implementing equipment for the use of renewable energy sources in the production plant, the emission of CO2 gases will be reduced by 39.68 t/year. When this is added and the implementation of other measures provided for in the main energy renovation project for the production plant, which lead to a reduction in electricity consumption (and thus indirectly to a reduction in CO2 emissions), CO2 emissions will be reduced for the production plant by a total of 49.40 t/ year Energy renovation of the building will reduce CO2 emissions by an additional 18.91t/year. The total reduction of CO2 emissions due to the implementation of planned energy renovation activities amounts to 68.31t/year.

Promotion of equality and equal opportunities

MODERN LINE d.o.o. for production, trade, service activities, tourism, hospitality, culture, art and information supports and promotes gender equality, equal opportunities and non-discrimination in any respect and accessibility for people with disabilities. In this sense, all existing and future workplaces in the Company are equally intended for all genders, minorities and both healthy and disabled persons who are able to perform the tasks within the scope of a particular workplace.
